FAQ

Do I need an international driving license?+

Usually not. A valid Israeli or EU license is accepted in Greece as-is — Israel is on the list of countries exempt from the International Driving Permit. Drivers from some other countries may need an IDP alongside their national license, which should ideally be held for at least a year. Send us a photo of your license and we'll confirm you're all set before you arrive.

Can I pick up the car at the airport?+

Yes, and it's the easiest way to start. We'll meet you with the car at the airport, or bring it straight to your hotel or the port — so your holiday begins without queues or hassle. Just tell us when and where.

Is insurance included?+

Yes — every car comes with basic insurance, and you can always upgrade to broader cover for full peace of mind. We'll explain exactly what's included and the differences in your quote, with no fine print.

Can I rent for one day only?+

Absolutely. Whether it's a single day for a spontaneous drive around the island or two full weeks, we'll fit the rental length to your plans — no rigid minimum.

What's the minimum age to rent?+

We rent to drivers aged 20 and up, provided the license has been held for at least a year — a standard requirement in Greece that keeps everyone safe on the road. If your situation is unusual, talk to us and we'll check it together.

Automatic or manual transmission?+

We have both. Corfu's roads are hilly and winding, and many travelers prefer an automatic so they can just enjoy the view — if that matters to you, let us know in advance and we'll reserve a suitable automatic.

How does the fuel policy work?+

Simple and fair: you get the car at a certain fuel level and return it the same, so you only pay for what you drive. We'll check the gauge together at handover so it's all clear from the start.

Is a deposit required?+

Yes — a deposit is held on a credit card for the rental period and released as soon as the car comes back fine. It's not a charge, just a temporary hold, and we'll state the exact amount upfront in your quote so there are no surprises.

Can I add an additional driver?+

Of course, and it's a good idea when you're sharing the driving on longer routes. An additional driver costs €3 per day, and you can add it right in the booking form along with the driver's name. Just note the additional driver also needs to meet the license and age requirements.

What if there's a breakdown on the road?+

You're never on your own. You get a support number, and we're here in Hebrew to help with any issue or question — from a flat tire to swapping the car if needed. The goal is for you to keep enjoying the day without worry.
